Our consultant, Edson, was professional and knowledgeable. He helped us weigh our options for our AC needs, and we'd be happy to work with him again.

Matthew was very friendly, knowledgeable and I loved that he asked if we were familiar with the product. He also went so far to ask what our vision for the product was before he gave us our option. He didn't force his design on us like people has done before on other projects. I would recommend

Patricia Joyce

5-Star Review: Dr. Ductless is Outstanding — We’re SO Happy! We just finished a full Mitsubishi MXZ-5D42NL multi-zone heat pump installation (3 cassettes + forced-air handler with 8 line sets) and are very pleased. This system is super quiet and effective — the best AC and heating all in one. From day one, owner Matthew Alba was professional, respectful, kind, and truly attentive. He listened carefully to our particular needs and desires, then guided us to the perfect system and setup for our home. His expertise and care made the whole decision process easy and enjoyable. Lead foreman Angel (and the entire installation crew) were fantastic. Angel is extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind, and hardworking. The rest of the team was amazingly skilled, worked together like a well-oiled machine, and made the job run smoothly and efficiently. They were all a pleasure to have around — we actually looked forward to seeing them each day. A huge shout-out to Karina and the rest of the office staff too. They were totally on the ball — checking in often, answering every question, and providing all the information we needed. Their coordination made the entire project seamless from start to finish. Dr. Ductless truly shines. We’re very happy with the quality of work, the attention to detail, and the way they treated us like family. We will always use them from now on for any AC or heating needs. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, top-tier HVAC company, look no further — these folks are the real deal. Thank you, Matthew, Angel, Karina, and the whole team!

Matthew was very knowledgeable and informative! It was a consultation…not a completed project.

Your Prescription For Whole-Home Comfort

Manhattan Beach is known for its beautiful beaches and warm, sunny weather. Though the forecast is often mild, summer and fall can bring very warm days, and many residents of Manhattan Beach rely on their air conditioning systems to stay comfortable.

A ductless mini-split system can offer you the cool comfort you need—and so much more! Widely considered to be the future of air conditioning, these systems reduce energy usage and save you money. Here at Dr. Ductless, we have more than 15 years of experience working with these types of systems. We provide a comprehensive range of ductless heating and AC services in Manhattan Beach, including new system installation, comprehensive repairs, parts and full system replacement, and routine maintenance and system cleaning. No matter the service you need, we’re ready to get the job done.

Why Choose A Ductless System?

Many older homes (and some newer ones) in Manhattan Beach were not built with ductwork. The relatively mild coastal temperatures mean that a lot of homeowners and apartment dwellers in this area are without central air conditioning, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need AC at all. Ductless mini-split systems offer the perfect alternative for homes that lack preexisting ductwork. Plus, they offer countless benefits that traditional systems simply do not.

While many contractors limit themselves to a single brand, Dr. Ductless Heating & Cooling brings years of hands-on experience with a wide range of leading manufacturers. We not only provide top-quality products, but also deliver expert ductless services for all makes and models. That means no matter what system you own, you can count on us for reliable installation, repair, and maintenance tailored to your needs.

Some of the benefits of ductless mini-split heating and air conditioning systems include:

Increased energy efficiency, leading to lowered energy bills
Customizable comfort and home zoning abilities
Less costly and time-consuming to install than ductwork and central ACs
Improved indoor air quality for cleaner, healthier air
Reduced environmental impact, compared to other AC options
Quieter operation than traditional central air conditioning systems
Additional features, like remote control, programming, ultra-quiet mode, and more

Choose The Area’s Most Trusted Ductless Contractor

We’ve heard countless horror stories of poorly trained, inexperienced, and downright dishonest HVAC contractors. But, here at Dr. Ductless, we believe in doing things differently. All of our technicians receive extensive, ongoing training and they are all certified by North American Technician Excellence (NATE), widely considered to be the gold standard of HVAC certification. We don’t believe in providing one-size-fits-all solutions but instead take the time to evaluate your home and your unique comfort needs. From there, we’re able to provide custom comfort solutions that fit your life. We offer free estimates, free second opinions, and our honest, professional recommendations and advice. When it comes to ductless heating and AC in Manhattan Beach, Dr. Ductless is the obvious choice!
